Our family business, Loós Lovasudvar

Our family business, Loós Lovasudvar, is run together with our children. Our home and stables are located in the village of Kosd, at the foot of Mount Naszály. Kosd is situated 40 km from the capital, Budapest, in a beautiful natural setting. The forest next to us and the enchanting Gyadai Meadow offer varied and scenic trail riding opportunities.

The foundation of our business is horse training, riding lessons, and leading trail rides. Our stable consists of 20 horses, and we work exclusively with horses we have trained ourselves. Every year, we raise 2 to 3 foals. Our riding students range in age from 6 to 60 years. Everyone begins with vaulting to develop a safe and balanced seat; later they can learn jumping and dressage as well. Every autumn, we organize a mock foxhunt on horseback. The flat race at the end is always arranged in a way that is easily accessible to relatives and other spectators.

We have well-trained horses suitable for both beginners and advanced riders. Our 20x40 meter sand-covered dressage arena is ideal for learning and practice. We warmly welcome international guests (we speak German, English, and Spanish) and organize varied trail rides and multi-day tours for them. We also have an 8-person hunting carriage, available for several-hour carriage rides in and around the village.

We offer accommodation especially for our riding guests who wish to stay with us for multiple days. The 30-square-meter apartment includes a spacious room, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. One corner of the room is equipped as a kitchen. Guests may choose between self-catering or full board.
